Intro

A Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focused on multilingualism, co-organised by Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (Belgium) and the Alcoitão School of Health Sciences (Portugal), addresses a key priority in European higher education: fostering intercultural competence and linguistic awareness.

Through its hybrid format, the programme enables diverse institutions—including Heimerer College (Kosovo) and Medipol University (Turkey)—to collaborate and explore the complexities of multilingualism in academic and professional contexts.

The initiative promotes international cooperation, critical reflection on language policies, and the development of essential skills for working in culturally and linguistically diverse environments.
